Finding Your Way Back to Yourself
How Did I Get Here?

Have you ever had one of those moments when you look at your life and think, how on earth did I get here?
We know life has a way of filling up while we're busy living it. There are the everyday challenges, along with the things we never saw coming. People to love and worry about, work to do, relationships to navigate, problems to solve and times when life feels a whole lot harder and messier than we'd like it to be. We adapt, make decisions, pick ourselves up when things don't go to plan and somehow keep moving.
Life happens to us. It changes us. We develop ways of coping, protecting ourselves and getting through. And understanding what all of that has created within us can help us meet ourselves — and our lives, differently.
Sometimes we notice it in the conversation we're still replaying hours later, saying yes when we wanted to say no, or losing our patience over something ridiculously small. At other times, it's the quieter realisation that somewhere along the way we've become disconnected from what we need, what we want and how we really feel.
When we begin to understand what's happening within us, we may see things we hadn't recognised before. Why something worries us so much. Why we're angry or resentful. Why we keep doubting ourselves, putting our own needs aside or repeating patterns we thought we'd left behind. And sometimes there isn't anything to work out at all. We're sad because something hurts. We're grieving because we've lost someone or something we love. We're struggling because life is hard.
At Sisterhood of SHE, this is what we mean by Remembering.
It's not about going back to who we used to be. It's about getting to know the woman who is here now — understanding what has shaped her, listening to what she's feeling and learning to hear her own voice amongst all the others she's collected along the way.
A stronger, steadier relationship with ourselves is something we build over time. The Five Pillars offer five places to begin.

The Five Pillars are five relationships we gradually deepen with ourselves. Together, they help us understand what's happening within us, respond to ourselves with greater compassion, recognise our own worth, trust our inner voice and move towards what matters to us.
Where Are You Right Now?
There are times when we want to understand why we're feeling or reacting the way we are. Other times, we may be tired of being so hard on ourselves, questioning our worth, second-guessing our decisions or holding back from something we know matters to us.
Our lives don't unfold neatly, and neither do we. What needs our attention changes as we change.
The Five Pillars give us different places to explore what may be happening within us — Self-Awareness, Self-Compassion, Self-Worth, Self-Trust and Self-Belief. You may recognise immediately which conversation feels closest to where you are today.
Sometimes, the smallest moments of awareness begin to change the relationship we have with ourselves.

Ever Wonder Why You Feel the Way You Do?
Life has a way of shaping us as we live it. We find ways to cope, protect ourselves, keep going and do what needs to be done, often without noticing what all of that has created within us.
Making Sense of Your Inner World, is our Self-Awareness guide — an invitation to slow down and become curious about your own inner world — what you've been carrying, the patterns you've developed and how the life you've lived may still be shaping the way you think, feel and respond today.
We'd love you to have the first Pillar as our gift.
